Pink TV Celebrates Its Birthday by Combining Two Reality Shows

This month, Pink Television is celebrating three decades of existence. To mark this joyous occasion, it has prepared thirty different events and surprises for its loyal viewers, spread across 30 days of September.

One of these surprises was revealed last week. It’s the launch of a reality show that set all viewership records last season and pushed boundaries — "Elita." The spectacular two-day moving in of the participants in "Elita 8" thrilled fans of intriguing TV projects. Some familiar names in the lineup include Baki B3, Gastoz, Miljana Kulic, Nenad Aleksic Sa and Lepi Mica. Some of the participants entered the "House of the Chosen," where they will enjoy special luxury and undertake unique tasks.

Simultaneously, a brand-new television channel called Narodna TV has been launched, offering a refreshing addition to the local media scene. The concept behind Narodna TV is to mirror Pink TV’s style from its early 1990s beginnings, with a programming schedule filled with nostalgic shows. One of the key features on Narodna TV will be the continuation of the reality show "Farma 8," which the channel will exclusively produce and broadcast. The return of this iconic reality show is set for the end of September and will feature a unique format.

In this TV season, viewers will be able to watch "Elita" on Pink TV, while "Farma" will air on Narodna TV, and these two shows will be connected. Specifically, some participants from "Elita" will transition to an authentic setting of a 14th-century medieval village, specially constructed for the reality show. The residents of the village will live without electricity, wake up at 6 AM, and go to bed at 10 PM. They will engage in medieval tasks and live under conditions reminiscent of bygone eras. Participants will move from one show to the other based on their behavior, as well as penalties and rewards. This marks the first time in our reality TV history that contestants will “move” from one television channel to another during the season. On "Farma," they will have the chance to prove themselves in order to earn a return to the "Elita" competition.

This shift brings new dynamics and challenges for the participants, as well as for viewers, who will get the opportunity to follow something entirely new and extraordinary on their TV screens.

RED Television will also take part in this project, with its hosts being the only ones granted exclusive interviews with the participants of both reality shows.
