After nearly two months and 20,000 kilometers, our friend Dragan Janković has returned to Serbia, arriving at Kalemegdan, the starting point of his life-changing motorcycle journey.
With his loyal two-wheeled companion, Dragan successfully overcame all obstacles on this fearless journey. He braved poor roads, impassable terrains, traffic jams, and landslides. Enduring extreme conditions such as high and low temperatures, strong winds, and even fighting for oxygen at altitudes above 4,500 meters, he navigated the toughest terrains. He crossed all borders successfully, adhering to regulations, but faced his biggest challenge at the Tajik border, where strict control was enforced.
This unforgettable adventure came to an end last weekend in Belgrade, at Kalemegdan. Dragan returned to the “Pobednik” (The Victor), standing tall as a victor himself. He was greeted by family, old and new friends, loyal fans, and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. Amidst heartfelt emotions, warm embraces, banners, and gifts, everyone who had followed his Eastern journey came to welcome him home.
We were there too, offering him our unwavering support. We are thrilled to have been part of Dragan’s story and his quest for freedom and new horizons, and we hope this is just the beginning of our shared adventures. We’ll let you in on a little secret - his next big dream is a journey through South America.
We'll wrap up this beautiful story with Dragan's response to our question: “Did you ever think about giving up?” His reply: "I don’t give up, I just keep pushing my boundaries."
