Quarterfinals of “Zvezde Granda” - who made it to the next round?

“Ladies and gentlemen, warm up your hands, open your hearts, and get ready for a spectacle! Zvezde Granda begins!” - echoed from TV screens last Saturday at 9:00 PM. The first quarterfinal episode of "Zvezde Granda" for the 2024/25 season aired on Pink TV, featuring contestants from across the region battling for a spot in the semifinals.

On the grand Grand stage, we witnessed seven duels and fourteen musical talents, filled with emotional moments and unforgettable performances. Hosts Voja Nedeljkovic, Milan Mitrovic, and Ana Sevic were once again there to ease the nerves of contestants and offer full support on their musical journey, as well as to chat with their loved ones in the "Room of Emotions." The expert jury - Djordje David, Aleksandar Milic Mili, Svetlana Ceca Raznatovic, Ana Bekuta, Violeta Viki Miljkovic, Snezana Djurisic, Dragan Stojković Bosanac and Marija Serifovic - once again faced a tough task. Both the jury and the audience enjoyed a wide range of performances, and there were even a few surprising eliminations. Out of 14 contestants, only 12 could move on to the next phase.

Valentina Roso won over both the studio audience and the judges with her voice, charm, and sincerity. About her performance of the song “Savrsena laz” by Nadica Ademov, Djordje said, “No one has ever sung this song better in the competition than she did.” Mili had to stand up and applaud Mate Milicevic’s performance, while Bosanac said Mate’s singing was “not just good, it was excellent.” Zoran Petrovic once again impressed with his performance of pop ballads, this time performing Toni Cetinski’s “Od milijun zena.” Djordje suggested to the production team for the next round: “I’d love to see Mate and Zoran paired in the semifinals to create a fantastic rhapsody.” Perhaps the most emotional moment was Kristina Krsticevic’s advancement through the wildcard round. The contestant burst into tears after Voja announced she was moving on to the semifinals. “I dedicate this to my dad; I hope he’s watching from above,” she said through tears.

New emotions and fresh battles await you next Saturday at 9 PM on Pink, when the second quarterfinal airs. We’ll find out who the remaining semifinalists are, which performances wowed the judges, and who said goodbye to the competition.
