The new series "Otmica" based on a true story, on the Superstar channel

Superstar Television continues to pleasantly surprise us with new series and film projects. Starting January 25, the channel's program will be enriched with the new series “Otmica” - "The Abduction". This thrilling drama delivers a gripping story of family secrets, desperate decisions, and the fight for justice. Ana, a young woman of Serbian origin, lives in Denmark with her father, Darko. Her peaceful life turns into a nightmare when she discovers she is pregnant with Markus, a powerful businessman for whom she worked as a housekeeper. When Markus learns about Ana’s pregnancy, he questions whether the child is his and makes his intentions clear - if it is, he wants custody. Determined to keep the baby at all costs, Ana seeks her father’s help. As Markus threatens to take everything from them, Darko and Ana make a drastic decision: to swap another baby for the DNA test to prove that Markus is not the biological father. They embark on a risky mission to find a baby that will serve as a "replacement" for the test. The plan seems straightforward - swap the baby, deceive the court, and hope they won’t be discovered.

The “Otmica” case leads to drastic consequences and becomes a challenging journey as it gradually emerges that many more people are involved in this crime. Who is implicated? How will the fates of these individuals intertwine in this television drama?

The series is directed by Miroslav Lekic, with lead roles played by Mikael Persbrandt, Amanda Radeljak, Dejan Cukic, Tamara Krcunovic and Srdjan Grahovac.

The series premieres on the Superstar channel on January 25th, airing Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 PM.
