A Series That Unites the Family in Front of the TV

Starting Monday, February 24, 2025, at 8:30 PM, the new sitcom “Srecna porodica – Rale i Mare” ("Happy Family – Rale and Mare") premieres on Superstar 2 Channel.

When we think of a "happy family," we often imagine perfection, but in this series, things are a bit different. Rale, a fifty-year-old teacher and eternal dreamer, and Mare, a serious doctor, live in a rented apartment with her children from a previous marriage. Their hilarious journey begins with the move to a new apartment, which soon becomes the gathering spot for their extended family. Their life is filled with funny situations, chaos, quirky characters, and everyday challenges. Although it's always hectic and busy, this loving couple manages to keep their family together and stay happy, even when everything goes awry!

The main roles are played by Rastko Jankovic (Rale) and Marija Veljkovic (Mare). Alongside them, the cast also includes Aleksandar Sreckovic Kubura, Nenad Okanovic, Nada Blam, Dusko Radovic, Fuad Tabucic, Milos Djordjevic, Pedja Damjanovic, Bojan Hlisc, Bojana Grabovac, Irfan Mensur, Anica Lazic, Boda Ninkovic, Jasminka Hodzic, Jana Nenadovic, Tinja Damjanovic, Djuradj Milovanovic, and others.

"There will be 30 episodes of a family sitcom. Through some humorous scenes, an important message will be conveyed: family is the pillar of society. Marija Veljkovic and I came up with this idea. We'll see how the audience accepts it. Hopefully, it'll be charming and sweet," said Rastko. When asked about how Marija was as a partner on the series, he briefly responded: "She took the story seriously. You'll see, I don’t like to speak in advance."

The series was created in collaboration between the production company Zillion Film and Telekom Srbija.
