MTEL Global and CCI Organize the Third Serbian Diaspora Book Fair

MTEL Global and Creative Communication Initiative invite you to the Third Serbian Diaspora Book Fair, “Bridges to the Diaspora,” taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on March 1-2, 2025, at Selma Kultur Center.

The event will be preceded by a literary evening with renowned writer and painter Mirjana Bobic Mojsilovic, on February 27 in Stockholm and February 28 in Gothenburg. Mirjana will present several of her books, and visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts.

At the Book Fair at Selma Kultur Center in Gothenburg, you can expect a rich and diverse program. Following the grand opening, a number of acclaimed authors from various countries will present their books, including the previously mentioned Mirjana Bobic Mojsilovic and Dr. Nele Karajlic. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore well-known titles as well as discover new works from over 20 exhibitors. Writers from Serbia, Republika Srpska, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, China, Czechia, Denmark, France, and other countries will showcase not only books for adults but also enchanting stories for the youngest readers. The event will also feature meet-and-greet sessions with authors and special guests, an exhibition of artistic works, and the panel discussion “Bridges to the Diaspora” which will include the Serbian Ambassador to Sweden.

A special highlight of the event is our MTEL Global Creative Workshop for Kids – "My Homeland": "Hey, little artist, come and see, Show us what your homeland means to thee!" Children will have the chance to draw their vision of their homeland, unleash their creativity and imagination, and express their love for their ancestral roots through art.
