After the film, TV series about Dzej Ramadanovski is coming

"Nedelja" (Sunday) follows the life of popular Serbian singer and Dorcol icon, Dzej, covering his journey from early youth to his entrance into the music scene (1976 to 1992).

Dzej is a boy from Dorcol (Belgrade), with a bright spirit, incredible charm, and generosity. He spends most of his time on the street, which for him is more significant than school or home. On the streets, he grew up, learned life lessons, solved moral dilemmas, found friendships, and experienced lost loves. He had a challenging childhood, often rejected by society and even by his closest family. Despite his kindness, he was also unlucky, which led to spending part of his youth in correctional facilities - where the story begins.

Dzej finds himself in a correctional facility on Sundays, the day when families come together. This buried sadness becomes the trigger for his motivation to become someone important. Dzej has no idea how to become "someone" or what path to take. Singing is just a casual pastime for him, and he has no inkling that it will one day become his life's calling.

“Nedelja” takes us through a story of growing up, coming of age, facing life’s challenges, and the beginnings of a career. It offers a glimpse into the life and spirit of Belgrade's Dorcol neighborhood in the 1970s and 1980s.

Following the film's great success and highly positive reviews, the series "Nedelja" is set to premiere on television. Across 12 episodes, produced by the same team behind the film, the series offers a deeper look into the singer's life, shedding light on lesser-known moments of his career and personal journey. Many scenes not shown in the film will be featured in the series, allowing fans and Dzej's music lovers to experience more intimate details of his life and immerse themselves further in his story.

Husein Husa Alijevic stars as Dzej in the series "Nedelja", joined by Alen Selimi, Marko Janketic, Stefan Vukic, Aleksej Bjelogrlic, Masa Djordjevic, Milica Janevski, Zlatan Vidovic, Ivan Jevtovic, and others in supporting roles.
