Rules - MTEL Foosball Tournament

The MTEL Foosball Tournament (hereinafter referred to as foosball or table soccer tournament) will take place at the MTEL booth during the second and third days of the Serbia 2023 event in Chicago.

Participation Eligibility:

First-time participants are individuals who register to participate in the MTEL foosball tournament.

The MTEL foosball tournament is open to all participants aged 18 and above, as well as minors accompanied by a guardian.

A team consists of two players. Upon registration, each participant must provide the team name they will be playing for.

Tournament Format:

The tournament will be divided into two phases: qualifications and playoffs.

The qualification phase will run throughout the day, allowing visitors to join and leave the tournament at their own discretion. Teams can play multiple matches during this phase.

The top teams from the qualification phase will advance to the playoff phase, which will be held at a specific time.

Match Rules:

Each match will be played on a foosball table with two players on each team.

Playoff matches will consist of a single game, and the team that scores the most goals will be declared the winner.

In case of a tie at the end of the match, overtime will be played, and the winner will be determined thereafter.

Teams must exhibit fair play throughout the tournament. Any violation of fair play rules may result in disqualification.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the winning team of the playoff phase.

The winning team of the playoff phase will receive a Winners' Cup trophy.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning team immediately after the conclusion of the playoff matches.

Registration and Participation:

Participants must register at the MTEL booth or by scanning the QR code available on MTEL promotional materials. During registration, participants must provide accurate and valid information.

Each team will receive a unique identification number to be used during the tournament.

The match schedule of teams will be determined based on the order of team registrations. The match schedule, tournament start time, and timings will be announced at the MTEL booth.

The tournament will be conducted according to table soccer rules and under the supervision of referees responsible for ensuring fair and proper gameplay.

Fair Play and Conduct:

All participants are expected to uphold fair play and sportsmanship during matches.

Any form of cheating, unsportsmanlike behavior, or disrespect towards other participants or event organizers will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification.

Responsibility and Safety:

Participants are responsible for their safety during the tournament and should exercise caution during gameplay.

Event organizers will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the tournament.

Organizer:

The organizer of the MTEL foosball tournament is MTEL USA LLC from California. The organizers of the Serbia 2023 event are not involved in the organization of the tournament and bear no responsibility for it.

Consent for Contact:

All registered participants consent to being contacted by representatives of MTEL for the purpose of providing information about participation in the MTEL foosball tournament, as well as for promoting MTEL TV services.

Photographs and Media:

By participating in the MTEL Foosball Tournament, participants agree to potentially being photographed or recorded and grant permission for their photographs and/or video footage to be published on MTEL's social media profiles, digital and print media, and other marketing channels for the promotional purposes of MTEL products and services, without temporal or territorial limitations. By giving consent for the use of photographs and/or video footage featuring their likeness as described above and for the purposes mentioned above, participants waive any rights to compensation.

Changes and Cancellations:

Event organizers retain the right to modify the format or rules of the tournament if necessary.

In the case of unforeseen circumstances, the tournament may be canceled or postponed. Participants registered for the tournament will be notified in such cases.

By participating in the MTEL foosball tournament, participants agree to abide by these rules. The tournament organizer's decisions regarding any disputes or issues that may arise during the tournament are final.
